Joy really is our birthright
Earlier this week a friend gifted me three Butterfly Koi. They were pets of an 80 year old gentleman who wanted to find a good home for them. They are quite personable and beautiful. I agreed to adopt them but I needed to get a place ready for them. I went up to my lotus ponds this morning to fix a solar pump and clean up the pond. It is a beautiful sunny morning and I really enjoyed playing with the pump, cleaning it and was excited when I finally got the water bubbling and gurgling into the pond.
As I walked back to the house I was really struck by the quality of my life. This truly is a life beyond my wildest dreams. I am so glad I didn’t stop when I hit the rough spots, felt hopeless or wanted to settle for what was.
It is Sunday and I was reflecting on the apprentice class tonight.
My passion is showing people how they can live the life of their dreams. I often reflect on what I did. While I studied with Don Miguel Ruiz and his mom literally thousands of people came and went. I remember when Don Miguel told me only myself and another man had done what he told us to do. The only difference I saw was I did the exercises.
“Come to the edge, he said.
They said: We are afraid.
Come to the edge, he said.
They came.
He pushed them and they flew.”
Guillaume Apollinaire
It is hard to do it alone
I’d like to invite you to my upcoming apprentice class. I’d love to show you how to live the life of your dreams. I am going to be having a free introductory class later this month. You’ll learn a lot, get a bunch of tools and get to see what it feels like to be part of a group with the intent to experience personal freedom.
Hope you are having an awesome Sunday. I’ll post pictures later of the Butterfly Koi and their new home.
With love and aloha,
Susan
