Once we become aware of our beliefs then what? It is often frustrating to ‘know’ what you need to do and be in that place between knowing and the change having occurred.

I love this story:

There were once two wolves. The wolf of fear looked stronger and very fierce. It was more persistent and kept coming back no matter how many times it was chased. The wolf of love was gentle and very easy going. The young child was afraid of being consumed by the wolf of fear. She went to her Grandfather and expressed her fear. He very lovingly replied that if she fought with the wolves she would never win. On the other hand if she feed only one wolf the one she feed most often would survive.

If we feed our old beliefs by giving them our attention and our power they will prevail. If instead, we focus on the healing power of love and give our attention to our new beliefs the old ones will wither and die. Every time you find yourself facing one of your old beliefs in the context of your life remember to love yourself instead of judging and fighting the old belief.

Changing beliefs happen thought by thought. Feed your spirit; feed your new beliefs and the old ones will fade away.

With love,
Susan
