With all the lava and the changes here on the Big Island I have been thinking a lot about community. Last night while I was soaking in the bathtub I started thinking about you, all the people on my email list.
My thought was, “What if we could sit down, have a cup of tea? How can I help each of you feel like you are part of my community?”
My mind continued to wander as I soaked in the relaxing, warm water, scented with pine. (Love taking baths!)
My next thought was how much I used to enjoy getting cards from people. I thought about how special opening my mailbox and finding a letter from someone really was, long before the internet and email.
I must admit I still look forward to opening my email program and scrolling through my inbox. So after a long soak in my tub and a night full of amazing dreams I realized I really want to create a sense of community with you.
I feel that for myself. Each time I write a blog post, make a video or send out an email message I am reaching out to you, my compadres.
My question to you is: How do I make sure you feel part of the greater whole? How can I be of service? My desire is to bring more love into the world, thought by thought and in all my actions.
At heart I’m a story teller. When I work one on one with someone I help them change their story. Before I started exploring spirituality my story was one of trauma and drama. I was severely depressed. Once I changed my story I began waking up happy, excited about the new day.
I’ve expanded my schedule and have opened up a few more spaces. If you are ready to change your story and allow love and magic to become the guiding force in your life let’s talk. Sign up for a complimentary Loving life Session with me. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did.
When Don Miguel asked me to become his student saying yes made no sense. The classes were in Spanish and I didn’t speak any Spanish, I still don’t. Saying yes was the best choice I ever made.
Generally I am doing weekly Facebook live videos on Wednesdays, feel free to come join me. I am also thinking about doing some live videos on YouTube.
Let me know what you think. How can I be of service in your life? I really care, so let me hear from you. And as always I AM a comments junkie, so please scroll down and start typing!
With love and aloha,
Susan

I guess if you’re sitting in a hot bath that you still have a bath in your home. I’m imagining sitting on a porch and watching lava flow by How amazing is that? And to live on a volcano. What a special place you call home.
Yes, my house has a few cracked walls but other than that just fine – this is a very special place to live, full of love and LOTS of energy.
Sending you a Big hug, Susan
Of course, I have also been thinking about community. Since recently moving to your beloved Hawaii, I’ve been using the word, Ohana so looked it up yesterday. “Family in an extended sense including blood related, adoptive, or intentional -(Love that!) Concept emphasizes that families are bound together and members cooperate and remember one another.” See you soon!
Aloha kakou, Georgia
Thanks for being part of my community
I read your daily e-mail every morning while I sit in the dark with my cup of coffee, listening to the birds usher in the day. It often helps set the tone for my day. Some day I hope to come visit, but for right now I am content in my corner of the world, which is the Pacific Northwest in Oregon. Thank you so much for sharing your spirit with me every morning, Susan!
The Pacific Northwest is beautiful as well. Glad you enjoy my words – I love starting my day with a cup of coffee and some peace as well.
With love, Susan
I am glad to hear you, your home and animals are secure. Looked up the definition of community and sharing seems to be the main definition. I’ve always appreciated all the sharing you do particularly with the Daily Reflections, your books, blogs and podcasts. Would enjoy seeing you on YouTube. I have no idea how to increase the community, but I know you’re doing all you can to help all of us and its valued. Many thanks.
Thanks Maryanne – I do have a YouTube channel but admit I have been rather lazy about adding videos – my inner voice has been gently suggesting I do that and with your added comment perhaps it is time to start doing so again.
Sending you a big hug, Susan
Aloha Susan,
It was so wonder-full to spend the special time with you yesterday. Count me in as part of your community.
I am looking forward to our future visit/play time and fresh air : )
Blissings and blessings,

I enjoyed Sunday as well – look forward to seeing you soon

Good Morning Susan,

Irene “Nene” ❤️🙏
I hope you get to visit too. Glad you enjoy the daily messages.
Sending you a BIG hug, Susan
Susan, Greetings. Community – a subject worthy (important) enough to respond. A sense of belonging is a requirement to live life to the fullest and is missing in so many us living on the planet today. As to your statement about making sure that we feel part of the greater whole, It is said that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink. Bottom line – the horse needs to be thirsty and we need to feel the need for community.
As for what you can do for me, I would suggest doing workshops together, such as meditation, encounter groups, or Reiki as examples. I use a pendulum to get answers to the serious questions and mine just said yes to working together.
Later, Art.
Funny I just fired up my computer with the intent of writing a follow up message to this post – glad you’d like to work together and create some community!
