Lately I’ve been getting many messages and reminders about the importance of the Goddess in my life and the lives of the people I work with. Sometimes I’m slow to acknowledge the messages I get but I did get this one loud and clear.
During the holidays, many years ago one of my students Patti was visiting. My dad had just come to live with me and I was a bit overwhelmed. I got upset about something and uttered my favorite string of colorful swear words.
Patti looked at me, smiled and said, “Goddess bless.” A few weeks ago I found myself losing my temper and again swearing. I thought about Patti’s Goddess Bless and made a decision to change my language and in the process my experience.
Now, every time I disconnect from myself and revert to swearing I immediately replace the words with “Goddess Bless.” It is amazing how quickly I started to feel better, more relaxed and at peace.
Now I very seldom swear and I can laugh at things that used to upset me. We do create our experience of reality with our thoughts, words and reactions. Love expands while fear contracts.
Back to the Goddess
For many centuries God was a women but history and spirituality were rewritten and the goddess was virtually written out of existence.
What does the feminine aspect of spirituality mean to you?
That question has come up for me lately, over and over again. At first my response was god, goddess what difference does it make but then I used Patti’s suggestion of Goddess Bless.
The Goddess is the epitome of creation, often associated with beauty, birth and rebirth. of motherhood, nurturing, peacefulness, purity and love.
So what happens when you embrace the goddess and make her part of your life? For years I’ve been helping people align with love and creativity helping them transform their lives into a magnificent work of art but sadly I have been leaving the Goddess in the shadows.
No more, from now on the Goddess will be front and center in my life and with all my work. Her love will make a huge difference. I’ve seen that in many ways.
I will begin accepting new clients in January. If you are ready to take a quantum leap and create a life beyond your wildest dreams let me know, I’d love to help.
Have any questions or comments I’d love to see them in the comment section.
With love and aloha,
Susan

I swear a lot and am not very proud of the fact. I simply love this idea and shall implement it in my daily life!! I came be aware of, know and respect The Goddess over a year ago through the Warrior Goddess Tribe. It’s been a long, hard, yet beautiful journey of self discovering within myself as well as other Goddesses who passionately want to find their true selves and their purpose. It’s a lot of awakening, accountability, bettering oneself each day, while enriching the lives of other sisters. It’s been a gift and something as simple as the example in this article is enough to make me more aware of my mindset, my thoughts… the power to be thankful for all experiences, good and bad as they are all a part of the human experience. It’s our thoughts that rule our words and then our actions. Why not stop for a moment, before we negatively react and spread positivity and light instead. We could all benefit from a little more positivity! 😊 Thank you for sharing this Susan. ❤️
Thanks Julie
Funny thing when I had Bea proof the post she told me she thought I had been saying God is blessed
Wow! I thought I was the only one with a “favorite string of colorful swear words”…! I would like to change that habit, myself… I will try this… “Goddess Bless”. I already kind of say, “God……. Bless America!” But you know… I need to mix it up a little.
Anyway, God bless you Susan. You and yours. I hope you had a great Christmas, and that you have a safe and prosperous New Year!!
Thanks Sonya Have a blessed 2019 too
With love, Susan
Also a great reminder about pausing with any method before I shoot off my mouth. My interpretation of the Goddess is gentleness, kindness, compassion, empathy, love, sharing, caring and cooperation. These days, I think I also have to include sanity. Thanks for the blog.
Thanks for taking time to comment and for the beautiful card …
