Susan’s back with episode 132 of her podcast Food for the Soul!!
She just adopted 3 kittens and one only has three legs, what lessons they can teach you about life and being limitless.
Three three legged kitten, Cleo runs and leaps just like her sisters and Mija washes the side of her face that she has hard time reaching.
Delighted you’re doing the podcasts again. Appreciate the reminder about “having” instead of “wanting”. The funny thing with this podcast about your kittens is that 2 years ago I put down what I thought was my last cat. And, for 2 years an abandoned cat in my neighborhood has been trying to break in. He recently succeeded. I find myself having an old pattern of fear about the loss of him. Amazing how those patterns come up even when everything is fine. Many thanks for what you share.
The loss is painful but an open heart a new fur child is so worth it. I was sad when we lost Latte but she led to three amazing kittens I would have gotten other wise – embrace your new cat. Life and death are part of the cycle without one we wouldn’t have the other enjoy you new cat with love instead of fear.
Sending you a big hug, Susan
I have a neighbour who lost her cat. He just disappeared. She refuses to get another one because of the fear of losing it too. She says the heart ache is too much to bare. Fear really does keep or hearts closed and we miss out on so many things we could be enjoying.
Thank you Susan for sharing so freely that we all just need to choose to change our perspective and everything around just changes. I’m sending back to you all the blessings of joy and love that you have been sending our way.
I knew another person that felt the same way after they lost their cat. A stray showed up and it took a year but finally the woman adopted him. Love heals all wounds.
Thanks for posting! Susan
