It is a beautiful day here in paradise. The sun is just rising over the treetops and I’m sitting here soaking in the gift of another morning. The birds are oddly silent but I guess it is a bit cool and they already did their celebrating a new day song.
What would life be like if each of us celebrated each and every moment of our life, no matter what kind of insanity surrounded us?
One of my favorite questions is: How can I see this through the eyes of love?
At times doing that is a stretch but that simple shift of consciousness makes all the difference in my life and the world around me.
Some thoughts about the election
I saw a post on Facebook this morning talking about the election. This woman said, “They hated more than we loved.”
How true. I never thought to send Trump love I just judged his prejudice and disrespect for women. I never sent love and prayed he would feel the love of others rather than the love of power.
I returned judgment with judgment. I judged.
So how can you use this election to improve the quality of your life? How can we as a species use the violence, anger, hatred, judgment and the disrespect of others to improve our lives and help move the planet away from barbarism and toward love?
How indeed. Of course love is the answer it always is but how do we love the prospect of what might come to be?
Using the election to improve our lives
Next week I am going to do my first live, video webinar and talk about just that. There is power in numbers. Please join me in generating an upwelling of love while you learn how to use anything and everything to vastly improve the quality of your life.
In the meantime breathe and love. Whenever a thought of judgment or fear arises take a deep breath and love. just keep finding something to feel good about. Your beloved, sunrise, a flower, the gift of life – you get the idea.
Just love, not an easy task at times but a wonderful practice. Just love.
See you soon!
With lots of love and aloha,
Susan

Me too – see you then!
look forward to your talk,Susan, the election results were a big surprize for me too, I thought Hilary would win, but politics is not really my thing.
See you on the 16th!
Thank you for your words.
I guess that sometimes hate can be stronger than love.
But love is more enduring.
It isn’t so much that hate is stronger it is just that a lot of people focused more on judgment and hate. After all the only thing that is real is LOVE.
