I have several ponds with lotus in them. One pond has pink lotus and the other yellow lotus. For several years I tried to grow a white lotus. Last year I nurtured a white lotus plant for months when a huge bud began to grow I was so excited until the bud finally opened and it was pink. It was beautiful but I was disappointed, I wanted a white lotus. I called the man I bought the white lotus from, he apologized and he offered to replace the pink lotus.
Letting your life blossom and grow
The moral of the story you ask? Life is a vast energy system and much like a garden. If you send out love you get love back. If you keep your garden fertilized (love) and weeded (choosing loving, expansive thoughts) your investments comes back multiplied and filled with beauty, wonder and grace.
Moment by moment you really have only two choices: love or fear. Love and fear manifest in a whole assortment of shapes and sizes, stories, agreements, assumptions and actions but no matter how we disguise them they are still either love or fear.
Susan, what a wonderful blog. The pix ar beautiful and the thoughts presented are so lovely, peaceful and quiet. It’s as though we need only love, be quiet and accept peace and our lives will be miraculous with absolutely no work on our part. Thank you.
And it really is that simple, of course choosing love isn’t always easy. There are times we would much rather be right and maintain our beliefs than be happy! The nice part about life is eventually we get willing to let go (in others words we get tired enough of the old results) and step into love.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting Bonnie…
With lots of love most of the time,
Susan
