I woke up last night to torrential rains, thunder and lightening. In the winter here on the Big Island of Hawaii that means snow on Mauna Kea. We are under a flood advisory and my driveway is a river. It is nice to sit inside and watch the rain. We have a tin roof, cathedral ceilings and no insulation so the sound of the rain can be deafening.
I never cease to be amazed by the beauty, wonder and power of nature, especially on this island because we have all of the world’s climate zones except one. I can float in the ocean and look up at the snow clad mountains.
I love this time of year and enjoy the magic of the season. I love all the holiday lights and the solstice. For those of you that missed the Solstice ceremony you can click here and listen to it now
May 2009 be the year that you allow yourself the gift of following your bliss.
With love and aloha,
Susan
Sounds delightful
