How a Simple Stack of Paper Could Change Your Life [Audio]

I’m trying something a little different today. Since it’s been shown that we each learn best using different modes (audio, visual, textual) I’ve taken an earlier post that many said was especially useful and converted it to an audio with visual imagery.

Listen and watch, instead of reading this time, and see if you get something completely new from it. I’m betting it will be quite a surprise!

Let me know in the comments below…

With love and aloha,

P.S. – Tomorrow is the last day to apply for intensive Toltec coaching before I leave for Europe. Don’t put it off if  you really want to get started changing your life! :D

Questions and answers: the videos

When I was in Japan I sent out an email asking people if they would like a personal video for the most pressing concerns in their lives. I got lots of emails and have finally begun making my video responses. I will e mail people as their videos are made. I left out people’s names so I could share some of the videos on my blog.

Here is the first of many. This video is about how to decided what to focus on in life when so much needs to be changed. It wonde up being about the 80/20% rule.

If you’d like your own personal video on something that is bothering you leave a comment or send me an email.

Guided Meditations and Visualization – Monthly Meditation Re-Opens

In this video I talk about how we can use altered states of consciousness to make real changes in our lives.

Using the power of guided visualization, you alter the way you respond to events in your life by practicing in your mind beforehand.

Guided meditations help us practice visualization and the better we get at visualization the more effective it is in helping us change our brains and, ultimately, our lives.

I know you have probably heard it a million times by now that meditation is good for you, etc. Etc., and maybe you’ve wanted to learn how but thought it was too time-consuming, or difficult because you thought you couldn’t visualize.

Here’s the thing: everyone can visualize. Even if you feel you’re no good at it; even if you tell me you think you “couldn’t visualize yourself out of a wet paper bag” I say pshaw. :D

The truth is, you CAN do it. In fact, the very act of attempting to visualize actually switches on areas of your brain that were dark and unused before you made the attempt. Over time, as you continue to practice, you will find that no matter how bad you thought you were at it, you become very competent. Eventually you’ll find it hard to believe you ever doubted yourself even the least little bit.

So watch the video and try it for yourself. See how it works and let me know in the comments how you did and whether it brought up any questions for you. I’d love too hear how it went!

And in the mean time, I’m very excited to tell you that I’ve re-opened the Monthly Guided Meditation series and it will now stay open for good.

I’ve gotten wonderful feedback from the first subscribers who got started a few weeks ago too and I’d like to share a couple of their comments:

“… I am a single working mom of a teenage boy. This week, I have been juggling work, jury duty and…[a lot more]…so amid all that is going on in my world, your meditations are something I am dearly looking forward to. I am so grateful that I was able to be counted in the initial group at such an affordable cost.

Your daily reflections are such a main-stay for me and most definitely are food for my soul.”

“I enjoyed [the meditations] quite a bit, especially the sunflower one. My goal is to truly do this every day, I’ve known intellectually for years that meditation is helpful but the “just do it” hasn’t happened. I’m looking forward to some peace and pleasant feelings…”

“I have been doing this work for 2 1/2 years now, mostly on my own. Last weekend was a particularly dark time for me and your meditations and the Art of Allowing videos helped me a lot. Thank you so much for getting it to me.”

Additionally, the introductory price for the Monthly Guided Meditations will still be good for another week or so.

If you think you’d like to give it a try, I really encourage you to see how they work for you. I’ve made the first month an extremely good deal with extra meditations and a great ebook to help you get even more out of the monthly series—all part of the first month’s price.

Check out the Monthly Guided Meditations and see if this special program is for you…

3 Concepts that Changed My Life

In this video I talk about how three simple concepts changed my life from one of suffering and unhappiness to a marvelously magical, daily experience. I talk about how I started my journey in Vermont and how I ended up where I did as a direct result of these concepts.

I hope the example of my process and experience will help you as you move toward the magical life that is your birthright…

Remember, the life you have now is the result of all your previous thoughts and actions. You have the power to completely alter the trajectory of your life for the better and the time to start is right this moment. Don’t put it off another second!

P.S. My Transformational Mentoring Program has only 4 spots left. It’s still open for a little longer and I sincerely encourage you to watch the special video I created that explains the entire program and how it can help you rapidly move to a brilliant new place in your life much faster than you might by going it alone.

2012–what will you create?

I want to wish all of you an awesome 2012.

I talk to so many people that have fear about their future, especially about 2012. I made this video as a reminder and as a holyday gift for you. I know this can be the best year yet, if you are willing to set your intent and change your old way of thinking.

Allow love to be your guiding force and bliss to be the place you live. I hope you enjoy the video. It is my gift to you.

Happy Thanksgiving Day

Aloha and Happy Thanksgiving,

Here in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving Day today. It is my favorite holiday. A day dedicated to gratitude and thanksgiving. What could be better than gratitude and love? Lots of people use it as an opportunity to overeat but I love having people over, cooking, celebrating and truly giving thanks for everything. I am so grateful I have a wonderful home, a great family, friends and each of you. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your life.

As the holiday approached thought about what I wanted to give you. I finally decided I wanted to share a story from my book, The Toltec Way. It is about a village of people who learned the power of gratitude and love. At first I was just going to record it as an audio but then decided to make a video instead. I hope you enjoy it.

Here is the transcript of the story if you want to read along.
